Coupon and Promotions in Odoo 15 Point of Sale

In order to be as efficient as possible, the promotion and coupon programs work closely with the Sales module.

Promotion Program 

Through the settings of the Odoo 15 PoS module, you can activate and configure the Coupon and Promotion programs. The Configuration tab on the dashboard of the PoS module provides access to the settings.

To activate the feature, click the checkbox. To view and configure Promotion programs in Odoo, click on Promotion Programs. After this, a page will appear for you to view and analyze the promotional programs. From there, click on the create button to create a new promotion program. You can configure your promotion there. 

Once the configurations have been completed, click on the Save button to save the program to Odoo; you can then find the newly created promotion program in the Promotion program list, which you can configure.

By Clicking on any of the Promotion programs, you can configure them.

After activating the coupon and promotions from the settings, you can access the promotions and coupon programs from the Product tab of the POS dashboard.

Coupon Programs

Directly from the Product tab mentioned above, you can configure and create Coupon Programs to boost your sales. To a considerable extent, coupon programs are practical business tools that help to promote business. It keeps your customers interested in your products and services and allows your business to maintain a close relationship with them.

As mentioned earlier, click on the Coupon Programs option under the product tab to configure the coupon program. Odoo will take you to a page where you can view all of your Coupon programs. By clicking on the create button, you can create a new coupon. You can configure your coupon here accordingly. Set the conditions and the Validity period for the program and enter the name. Then You can Configure the reward type from the three discounts, Free products, and Free shopping. Afterward, configure and apply a discount percentage to the order, the cheapest product, or specific products. You can enter the maximum discount amount to set a limit for the discount. After providing all the details, click on the Generate Coupon button.

A Coupon generation tab will pop up where you can configure the number of coupons.

Choose the Coupon generation type from the two options Number of Coupons and Number of selected customers. If you have selected the Number of Coupons option, you can configure the Number of Coupons and create the coupons. You will get additional options and information when you choose the number of selected customers.

It will allow you to generate the coupons regarding the individual customers, 

And when you click on the Generate button, the coupon will be sent to them via mail. In the configuration tab, you will find the generated coupon.

Because the Odoo 15 PoS module is highly integrated with the Sales module, there is no need to go to the Sales module for Promotions and coupon programs. Every option related to promotional programs is available in the PoS module to ensure maximum functionality.
