CRM to Quotation

First let’s create an Opportunity, For that open the CRM module

First let’s create an Opportunity, For that open the CRM module.

Here in the top right corner, you can see different views such as List, Kanban, Pivot, Graph, Map and Activity.

In the List view, you are getting a list of opportunities. To create a new one, Click the New button.

Now you have a new record.

Here you can include all the details for your new opportunity.

You can add your name, expected revenue, customer name and details, expected closing, sales team, priority, and other details.

The probability can be automatic or writable according to your preference, by default it is automatic probability according to your Expected revenue.

The three stars are the priority stars, which you can add according to the records’ priority.

Click the cloud icon to save manually.

At the bottom, you get Internal Notes, Extra Information and Assigned Partner. In Internal notes, you can add a description.

In Extra information, you can add all the extra details such as company name, Address, Website, Job position, Contact details, Marketing details and Tracking details.

After adding all the details and saving it manually, you can see an interface like this.

Here at the top right corner, we have four different states such as New, Qualified, Preposition and Won.

These states can be changed according to the state of the record.

At the top left corner, we have four buttons such as New Quotation, Won, Lost, and New Rental

To create a new quotation for our record, click on the New Quotation button. There is also a simple way to create the opportunity,

Go to the CRM module and select Kanban view from the top right corner.

Here you can see all the opportunities in different states.

Just clicking the + icon you can create a new form in whatever state you need. Or using the New button.

When you select an existing company/contact their details will be automatically filled in while creating new opportunities.

This is a simple way to create an opportunity.

Now let’s go to the form we created.

Click on New Quotation to create a quotation.

Here is the new quotation form.

If you had filled customer name, details, and services while creating the opportunity, all those data will be automatically filled inside this quotation form.

Or you can add details according to your needs.

Both Customer name and Product are required fields, so must be filled in to continue the process.

After completing it can be saved.

Now you have created a Quotation. Well done!

Quotation to Sale order

Next, let’s make a Sale order from the Quotation

This is the quotation form that we created.

Here at the top right corner, you can see different states such as Quotation, Quotation Sent, and Sale Order.

When you just create the quotation, it will be in the Quotation state.

The states change only when certain actions are performed on the record. It helps to understand which state the quotation is in.

At the top left corner, you can see different buttons such as Send by Email, Send PRO- FORMA Invoice, Cofirm, Preview, and Cash payment.

In the form, you have to add details such as Customer, Invoice address, Delivery address, Quotation template if you have one, Expiration date, price, and Payment terms.

At the bottom, you have the order lines to add the products, quantity and other details.

Then you have optional products, those products which might be used or not that can be considered as optional, only if needed.

The other information contains other information about the quotations including invoice details and accounting details.

To make a sale order from quotation, the quotation needed to be confirmed. Click Confirm

The sale order is successfully created.

After confirming you have the option to pick up.

Then you have the option to create an invoice and to register payment.
