Differences between Odoo 14 Community Vs Enterprise

Odoo is an open-source ERP solution that is a popular ERP tool for all kinds of business operations. Starting its journey in 2005, Odoo has become the choice of over 2 million users across the globe.

Odoo Enterprise is a licensed version, and we can install the ERP platform on payment of the fee. The price of an ERP is calculated based on five components, including the apps used. The charges are calculated every month. It should be noted that the integration and other services are separately payable.

  • Modules

Both the Community and Enterprise Editions of Odoo come with a modular structure. Both these editions offer a whole suite of business modules to the clients. Both these versions offer functional modules like Purchase, Sales, Inventory, and Accounting.

Enterprise edition offers all the features available in Community Edition and at the same time gives additional apps and features that are required to ensure up to date business management in the market. The applications like Field Service, Data Cleaning, Rental and Marketing Automation are exclusively available in Enterprise Edition.

Odoo community edition can be hosted by the users themselves. The user can also depend on third-party vendors for hosting services. Odoo community can be hosted using an on-premise server or with the help of a cloud hosting facility.

In the meantime, Odoo Enterprise users are eligible for the official hosting support of Odoo hosting. Odoo SaaS and Odoo.sh platforms can be used for hosting apart from Cloud hosting and On-Premise server.
