Keeping track of all the leave allocations of the employees in your organization is a tedious task. There might be several types of leave accrual for every kind of leave, and this might change employee wise, department wise etc. That’s where Odoo comes into play. Odoo can help you to manage the leave accrual of your organization efficiently.
Today we will be creating a leave accrual in Odoo with a sample scenario. Consider that the paid leave for an employee is allocated based on the seniority level. As the number of years an employee works in your organization increases, they will be entitled to more leaves. Let us allocate a paid leave for an employee based on this scenario.
To create a leave accrual or accrual plan in Odoo,
Time-Off
—> Configuration —> Accrual Plan
Click on the create button and click on Add a New Level button.
This will allocate 1 day of leave every month from the allocation date, aka the joining date.
Now again, click on Add a New Level.
This will allocate 2 days of leave every month after 4 years of allocation aka joining date.
So basically, a leave accrual plan can have multiple levels, and we can configure the levels as per our needs.
So we have now configured a leave accrual, and we can select this leave accrual while creating the allocation for a particular employee.
The leave can be allocated by selecting the accrual plan which we created just now. The leave accrual option in Odoo can thus greatly help you to manage your employees and their leaves efficiently.
